For anyone who was listening at 9am here in Cleveland, yes that was me. Guess I've jumped out of the closet, eh? ;)

I'm working on a list of the dieties who want stories told about them for my nanowrimo work. Here's who I've got so far:
Quan Yin
Pan (requested by SRC)
Quetzalcoatl (recommended by SRC)
Kali (requested by another friend through SRC)
Loki (just won't leave me alone and wants to hang out in seedy bars from the looks of things)
Another one from Africa that I can't figure out where I wrote the name of - a god of war.
I'm still looking for other stories to tell - I think I'll need at least 15 to reach my 50,000 word goal. I'm trying to stay gender-balanced and continent-balanced, but we'll see if that happens (right now I've got a 1:2 ratio female:male going up there - tho Persephone is indicating she might be interested in having a cuppa with me too, she's a major supporting character in the "actual" novel I've been working on for years so I'm trying to decide how much of her story needs to be existing separately). Jesus keeps tapping me on the shoulder, but I'm worried about the hate mail from that. The NPR story this morning about Krishna and his consort (whose name I have no idea how to spell) is leading me to a conversation between the two of them. If you've got a personal recommendation, shoot me a comment with the correct spelling of the diety's name and a brief description, I'll go googling to find more. I especially need some from the American continents. I think some Egyptians might be sneaking into this, don't know which continent I really consider them tho so they may be floaters.
